An Enriched Curriculum
Student Leadership
At TKS, we believe that leadership cannot merely be taught; it must be modelled and experienced. Our student leaders are expected to model excellent behaviour, attitude, values and act as ambassadors for other students.
The school has a rigorous recruitment process for appointing student leaders at all levels to ensure that we have the best students for various student leadership positions.
For the first time ever, we have implemented a student leadership structure for both Broadway and Foxland Campus. Some of the student leadership roles within this structure include:
Head Students
Deputy Head Students
Prefects
Form Captains
Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
Primary Ambassadors
Peer Mentors
Librarians
Assembly Programme
Assemblies play a crucial role in the educational experience of our students. They provide opportunities to build a sense of community; celebrate achievements; promote the school values and culture; recognise and illuminate important cultural events; share important information about the school day.
The assembly programme is also integral to our delivery of the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) Curriculum and is mapped against the 6 PPE domains.

Form time
Our personal development form time and assembly curriculum is a progressive journey from guided exploration in KS3 to independent aspiration in KS4.
In Key Stage 3, weekly personal development themes support our KS3 Diploma and our Cornerstone Curriculum, helping students build character, self-awareness and positive habits through low teacher input and high-quality independent reflection linked to enrichment and wider experiences.
In Key Stage 4, personal development becomes more academic and future-focused, aligned to the 6As framework, with an emphasis on aspiration, revision, responsibility and preparation for post-16 pathways. Across both stages, pupils increasingly take ownership of their development, ensuring personal growth directly supports academic success and readiness for life beyond school.
