KS3 Library

Our KS3 library on Broadway campus provides an inspiring space where students can develop their independent reading skills and love of reading. The library offers an engaging collection of age-appropriate books across a range of genres. Students have the opportunity to visit the library daily, to explore titles, relax with a book and borrow books if they wish. In addition, a range of themed enrichment activities are available, from reading challenges to fun crafts.

KS4 Study Centre

For our KS4 students, we offer a silent Study Centre on Foxland campus, ideal for revision and homework with support from staff. Students may access laptops, to aid with research, and a wide range of age-appropriate fiction and non-fiction titles to browse. Additionally, there is a dedicated section for help with college applications and future career paths. This dynamic space is also used for a number of extra-curricular enrichment activities including Inkling Creative Writing group and the meetings of the Book Club.

Student Leaders of Communication

To boost students' confidence with reading, the Literacy Team has selected a number of students to participate with younger students as Student Leaders of Communication. Whilst the intervention encourages reluctant readers to boost their reading ability, extra merits for students participating with this process are also obtained.
