SEND Information and advice sessions (originally named Coffee and Connect) are held monthly and all dates for these are on the Stockport Neurodevelopmental Support for Children & Young People (5-16) Padlet.
The Greater Manchester Neurodevelopmental (ND) Early Help Team have created an online information board (Padlet) which outlines their ND Early Help Offer. It brings together both in-person support, such as advice drop‑ins, group sessions and courses, as well as online support, including webinar recordings, live training sessions and regularly updated information and resources.
Stockport Neurodevelopmental Team Information and Advice sessions:
Stockport Neurodevelopmental Team invite you to attend their Exploring Neurodiversity session which is designed for parents/carers and family members of neurodivergent children.
The session is on Thursday 17th September 2026, 6pm – 8.30pm and will run for 2hrs and 30 minutes. It provides an opportunity to understand what neurodiversity is, what strategies may be helpful to use at home and to share experiences with other parents.
In order to attend, you will need to book a place via Eventbrite.
Stockport Children’s Occupational Therapy Team workshop:
Stockport children’s occupational therapy (OT) service is offering a face to face workshop to support parents and carers. You do not need to be referred to the service and can just attend the sessions.

The next ND Team Information and Advice drop in session on Wednesday 16th September 2026 running from One Stockport Family Hub Garners Lane Stockport SK3 8QW 10am – 12pm.
Come along and have a chat with representatives from The Neurodevelopmental Team, Educational Psychology Service, Jigsaw Team, Children’s Therapy Services, School Nursing Team, and Parents and Carers Together Stockport (PACTS).
