SEND Information and advice sessions (originally named Coffee and Connect) are held monthly and all dates for these are on the Stockport Neurodevelopmental Support for Children & Young People (5-16) Padlet.
The Greater Manchester Neurodevelopmental (ND) Early Help Team have created an online information board (Padlet) which outlines their ND Early Help Offer. It brings together both in-person support, such as advice drop‑ins, group sessions and courses, as well as online support, including webinar recordings, live training sessions and regularly updated information and resources.
Monthly drop-in information sessions – SEND Marketplace Event
20th May, 10:00 – 13:00, at Stockroom.
This will be a SEND Services Marketplace, an opportunity for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND to find out what support is available locally.
A range of SEND services will be hosting information stalls, where you can drop in, browse, and have informal conversations with professionals about what they offer, who their support is for, and how families can access help.
You can move around the marketplace at your own pace, speak to the services that are most relevant to you, and pick up information to take away. Council staff will also be available on the day to help with signposting and general questions. For more information, please visit this link.
Stockport Neurodiversity Team's next Information and Advice session will be held on 13th May 2026 10am - 12pm, at One Stockport Family Hub Westmorland Drive Brinnington SK5 8HH.
Come along and have a chat with colleagues from their multi-disciplinary team which includes representatives from The Educational Psychology Service, Jigsaw Team, Neurodevelopmental Team, Children’s Therapy Services, and The Hearing and Vision Service.
This is a drop in session no need to book, no diagnosis required.
