Enquiries About Results 2024
All Exam Boards follow the same Review of Results procedure as set out in this document: JCQ: Post-Results Services. There are three services available for our students: Access to Scripts, Clerical Checks or a Review of Marking.
You are reminded that Clerical Checks and Review of Markings could result in a mark being adjusted down as well as up.
1. Access to Scripts
Candidates can request access to their own marked exam scripts for general interest or to inform future learning e.g. for resitting examinations.
2. Clerical Checks
A re-check of all clerical procedures leading to the issue of a result. e.g. All parts of the script have been marked; the totalling and recording of marks is correct.
3. Review of Marking
To ensure the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly. This will consist of a clerical re-check, access to the script and a second examiner reviewing the paper/recording to identify genuine marking errors or unreasonable marking. Please note, this service is only available for externally assessed components, not controlled assessments.
It is advised to consult your subject teacher to see if a Review of Marking is recommended. Similarly, the school will contact individual students should we believe that a Review of Marking might be in their best interests.
Post Results Service Fees Summer 2024
The fees the Exam Boards charge are outlined below. Prices shown are per unit or paper, not per qualification. If the Review of Marking results in an upwards change of grade, the Exam Board’s fee will be refunded.

To request any of these three services, please complete the Post Results Service Google form which can be found here: https://forms.gle/
Please note that if you want Access to Scripts for AQA subjects, the deadline for this is 5th September 2024. For all other requests for Post Results Services please complete the Google form by 12pm Friday 20th September 2024, to allow us time to process the application before the Exam Board deadline.
